My boyfriend's in a band, and he's going to play a show up at Jimmy Z's, which I think is technically a bar, but I heard that you can go into a bar in Washington if you're over 18, as long as you don't drink alcohol... is that true? Because I really want to go support him and take pics and stuff, but I'm 19... and half the band is under 21 too...

Nope, bars won't let you in unless you're 21+. I was surprised to be turned away when I was accompanying my 21-year-old husband and I was 20.

No they are not. There are all ages clubs, however they do not serve alcohol. The only time one will be allowed in a bar would be a pub style restaurant outside of peak hours (prior to 9pm) and that is up to the discretion of the establishment. This is for the reason that it is easy for another person to buy a drink and an establishment runs the risk of loosing the LLBO license if an underage person is drinking in their establishment regardless of whether or not they purchased the drink. Legal age in Quebec is 18. Depending upon where you are in Ontario it may be a completely doable weekend trip, not o mention Quebec, namely Montreal is a great party town.

No you can not you have to be 21 in washington state. And if you are in a band you have to go outside during the breaks.
