YES! But start small and be prepared for a lot of long hours and hard work if you really want to be successful. Also, make sure you have all the licenses for selling food. Try to sell it at street fairs, the Pike Place Market, or other places first -- or try to sell it thru Starbucks, Tully's, or some place like that.

It has to have a very creative name than separates it from other products. In marketing, a line says, “Sell the sizzle not the steak.” Also, use your friends and relatives to help with ideas as to how it can be marketed. Also, packaging is key.

To start your creative thinking, take a piece of paper and at the top of it, write the headline: How Can I Sell 500 Pounds of Fudge. Then begin listing ideas, even if they seem crazy. Write down at least 20 answers. Do the same thing every day for at least a week. You will be surprised at the ideas that come out of your own spirit!

Good luck!

I know of a lady who makes excellent peanut brittle. She has her son and a few other people help market it for her. They just carry baggies of peanut brittle around.

It's easy. You give someone a sample. Ask them if they would like some more and tell them how much it is. If you make something really good, just find the fudge-addicts. We all know, with both fudge and peanut brittle, homemade is the WAY BETTER than even the stuff at candy stores. People will pay for that stuff.

Especially at Christmas or other holidays, people might order extra from you.
